Clamp Tools, or Cinch Tools, are used to connect PEX pipes to each other or to a PEX fitting. It works by clamping down on a clamp ring around the PEX pipe. Unlike the crimp method, this connection method can be reassembled without cutting the PEX pipe. PEX Clamp Tool features a ratcheting, mistake-proof mechanism that prevents tool jaws from opening while the connection is being done. This saves the need for gauging and checking connections for errors.

Compatibility:

• PEX Tubing: all types (A, B, C) and brands, including Everhot, Watts, Viega, Zurn, Nibco, Uponor, etc. (made to ASTM F876/F877 standards);
• Fittings: brass (per ASTM F1807) and poly (per ASTM F2159) crimp style PEX fittings;
• Cinch Clamps (Rings): Oetiker brand and others (per ASTM F2098).
